Inspectors found most of the advertising messages breaching legal provisions in the segment of sale of food supplements, particularly in those sold in the Internet. Among the most frequent breaches there were indicating of misleading information and using of unauthorized health or also medical claims. A specific category of inspected entities were Internet shops and advertising web pages, operators of which were based outside the territory of the Czech Republic. They are e-shops aiming at local consumers with information in Czech language where CAFIA found some of the above mentioned defects.
