A delivery of 3.6 tons of chilled chicken meat of Polish origin that contained the bacteria of Salmonella Enteritidis got to the Czech market. The State Veterinary Administration (SVA) received the information through the RASFF rapid alarm system. Within investigation of the case, it was found that in the Czech Republic, the meat was sold as unpacked meat by Karapetjan s.r.o. in their store in Jablonec nad Nisou. Although the meat is not on the market, with regard to its date of consumption (January 31st, 2017), part of concerned batch can be in consumers' freezers.
