The amendment of the Government Regulation No. 125/2011 Coll., on setting information obligation to the recipients of animal products in the place of destination.
The Amendment No. 212/2014 Coll. regulates information on animal products that must be announced to given veterinary administration in the place of destination as follows: besides existing data (as per 125/2011 Coll.) there is information on assumed sales unit price in the place of destination or of sale excluding the value added tax.
The amendment also regulates the period of announcing the delivery of animal products when the period is prolonged from original 24 hour to 48 hours before arrival of animal products from other member stated to the place of destination. The recipient must announce the information to the Regional Veterinary Administration solely through the information system of the State Veterinary Administration, i.e. the form published at www.svscr.cz, no other way. The Amendment to the Government Regulation No. 125/2011 Coll. comes into effect on 3rd October 2014.

Information obligation to the recipients of selected vegetable products in the place of destination
On 2nd October 2014, the government of the Czech Republic issued the Regulation No. 211/2014 Coll. that, among others, obliges the food business operators to inform the Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) about import of some kinds of fresh fruit, fresh vegetables and potatoes. The regulation applies only to food imported to the Czech Republic with the aim of their sale or further processing on the territory of the Czech Republic not to food, the place of destination of which is outside the territory of the Czech Republic.
Obligatory information that, as per the government regulation, the food business operator must provide the supervisory body in the place of destination with: kind of food coming to the place of destination, quantity of food coming to the place of destination, member state and name and address of the food business operator sending the food to the place of destination, address of the place of destination and recipient of the food, assumed sales unit price in the place of destination excluding the value added tax.
The food business operator must deliver the obligatory information to competent Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority at least 48 hours before delivery of the food to the place of destination. The food business operator can deliver the information in writing or electronically in the form of the table “Reporting of Food – Form” that is together with other detail information available at SZPI web page. The Regulation No. 211/2014 Coll. comes into effect on 3rd October 2014.
